Bioveri as one of few food companies in Poland has an industrial installation for the desensitization of raw materials using food-grade CO2 treatment technology.
CO2 treatment is an environmentally and product-friendly most effective method of insect and pest control using high-pressure food-grade carbon dioxide.
Raw materials subjected to desensitisation using food grade CO2 do not show any sensory changes and are clean and without residual chemical compounds as with conventional fumigation.
Desinsectisation of raw materials using food grade CO2 (CO2 treatment technology) is the only method that meets the requirements and guidelines of COUNCIL REGULATION (EC) No. 834/2007 of June 28, 2007.
